The 3 Branches of SAC

SAC
Student Advisory Council is a 2-credit class for the Fall and Winter semesters. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) at Brigham Young University (BYU) is a group of student representatives from various colleges, departments, and organizations on campus. They work together to represent student opinions to the university administration, helping to improve the overall student experience. SAC members engage in research projects and collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to implement initiatives that benefit the BYU community, which is presented to President Reese

Student Voice
Student Voice at BYU works closely with the Student Advisory Council (SAC) and the Marketing team to create a more inclusive and responsive campus. They gather student feedback through events like the Idea Fair, surveys, and focus groups, and help turn that feedback into actionable projects. Once projects are approved by SAC, Student Voice helps carry them forward into the next school year, collaborating with campus partners to see them through. Marketing supports these efforts by promoting the initiatives and encouraging student engagement.

Marketing
The Marketing team supports Student Voice and the Student Advisory Council (SAC) by promoting their initiatives and increasing campus awareness. They create visual content, manage social media campaigns, and design promotional materials for events like the Idea Fair and project launches. Marketing also helps communicate student-led research and feedback findings in engaging, accessible ways. Through their efforts, they ensure that student voices and SAC-approved projects are visible and impactful across campus.
