Caleb Rogers
BYUSA President
Caleb Rogers is a senior at BYU studying Political Science, French, and Global Business. His BYUSA journey began as a first-semester freshman when a friend invited him to volunteer—an experience that sparked years of involvement as a Team Lead, Director, Vice-President, and now Student Body President. Caleb is passionate about helping students discover purpose, belonging, and community during their time at BYU, and especially loves mentoring underclassmen as they navigate campus life. His professional experience spans teaching French at the Missionary Training Center, supporting entrepreneurs through a venture studio, and working in the financial sector with a focus on global markets. As a U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholar, he spent a summer in Baku, Azerbaijan studying the Azerbaijani language. He served a mission in Louisiana and Paris, France, and plans to pursue a career in management consulting after graduation. Outside of academics and BYUSA, he enjoys distance running, trail running, climbing, skiing, and photography—particularly portrait work.

Ella Paligo
BYUSA Executive Vice President
Ella Paligo is a junior studying Political Science and Legal Studies with minors in Business, Civic Engagement Leadership, and Global Women’s Studies through the Honors Program. She jumped into BYUSA during her very first week at BYU and has since served as Marketing Team Lead, Representative and Director in the SAC, winning Campaign Manager, and now EVP. Her mission in Guatemala inspired a passion for helping students find connection and purpose. Outside BYUSA, Ella has worked on several political campaigns, completed legal internships, and co-founded a second-chance initiative to provide education and resources to incarcerated individuals. On campus, she’s a Research and Teaching Assistant, published writer, and leader in several academic associations. She’s also a Council for Interfaith Engagement Student Scholar, Global Politics Lab Research Fellow, Kennedy Center Student Peace Advocate & Research Fellow, and Wheatley Scholar. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, drinking Diet Coke, and listening to Kendrick Lamar. Ella loves meeting new people—so stop by WSC 3400 to say hi!
