Dave Nagata is the coordinator for the BYUSA Activities area in the Student Connection and Leadership Center. He has the opportunity to do two things he loves doing daily: helping others recognize and develop their potential, both individually and collectively, and having fun while working. Dave has been living the dream while working both in higher education and public education for his professional career. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Ricks College, a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, and a Master’s of Education, both from Utah State University. While attending USU, Dave was involved in the Elementary Education Association, where he met his wife, Candice. They are the parents of five children and love making memories together as a family.
