Angela Blomquist is the Director of the Student Connection & Leadership Center at BYU, bringing over 25 years of experience in higher education. Passionate about student development, Angela is dedicated to helping students become confident, capable leaders while creating meaningful college experiences. As a certified CliftonStrengths coach, Angela empowers students to discover and use their unique strengths—both in the classroom and in life. She teaches BYU’s Authentic Leadership course, where she guides students in understanding themselves and collaborating effectively with others. Her top strengths include Achiever, Competition, Activator, Communication, and Relator.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys time with her family as a mother and grandmother, and is an experienced horse enthusiast who loves the joy and connection that come from working with horses.
